Hollywood Eye Makeup Tips
A girl’s gotta do what a girl’s gotta do right?
This includes learning how to apply your eye makeup in a way that will make you look stunning! When you use the tips in this article, you are going to look like a movie star and everyone will be asking you who your makeup artist is! Here are some great tips on how to look like an A list celebrity.
Applying Your Mascara
With your mascara eye makeup its best if you apply two coats only. Any more coats and your eyes will look clumpy. When applying, try to keep your lid taut by applying pressure on your eye lid. For a really full look, apply to the tips first and then do a second coat from root to tip.
Leave the mascara to dry for at least 5 minutes before you apply another coat. The second coat will look even more fantastic when you have a little patience!
Applying Your Eyeliner
Whether you prefer a liquid eyeliner or a pencil eyeliner, there are ways to get the look you want with both. Liquid eyeliner often gives you a more defined look whereas a pencil will make the look softer. When you apply your eyeliner you should make it so that the lid is tight. Once you’ve mastered this then you can draw a smooth line from the inner corner outwards. If the misty eyed look is what you want to go for then use your finer or a q tip to smudge your eye makeup.
Applying Your Eye Shadow
If you are a bit of a traditionalist then you can use three shades of your favorite eye shadow starting with the darkest at the bottom and lightest nearest your eyebrow. Colors that suit a medium tone pallet include bronzes and golds. If you want to add a bit of drama to your eyes then go for bright blues and sexy greens.
If you want to create that smoldering eye makeup look then you can use colors such as coffees, mochas and blacks to make it really dramatic. Remember to use a couple of shades of the one color though!
One thing that I should mention is those pesky wrinkles. Now come on girls, we’ve all got them and worry about them so here is how to hide them! Wrinkle cream is a wonder product and should be applied 10 minutes before you start applying your eye makeup. Remember that if you have an anti-aging regime then your skin will look even better even before you put any makeup on!
